Hi dear celiac!

We woke up early in the morning. The hotel offered breakfast but of course full of gluten. They had some cherry tomatoes and eggs that I ate, but I also had my own breakfast as always. Walked two hours to the closest monorail.

We took bus to HongCun. HongCun is a traditional village, is 900 year old and is Unesco world Heritage since 2000. It is gaining popullarity so they make every effort to take money from the visitors. We have to pay a tax to enter the city.

HongCun is lovely! It is where some scenes of the classic movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) were shoot! Unfortunately we didn’t have time to go to the bamboo florest.
The Yue Zhao – Moon Pound is gorgeous!! Was built during Ming Dynasty (1403-1424) and designed by a woman.

Pretty architecture…

Plants <3

Cute cat resting…

The city has a night market as well which I got many gifts for my family. Don’t forget to always compare the prices, the difference can be outrageous!!

In the hostel I cooked rice, veggies and eggs for dinner and tomorrow’s lunch.
